my site. I have compiled a list of books for children to help
them further explore the writing and illustrating process. I've
volunteered in my local elementary school library for five years
and these books are some of my favorites.
On the Recommended
Reading page you will also find a list of books for adults
about writing, illustrating and publishing. Teachers and librarians
often make the best children's book authors and illustrators,
so if you have an interest in publishing, please visit this list.
On the Fun
Kid Stuff page, I have included the cover image from my newest
book, Miles Away From Home, to color. I've also included
a drawing lesson called How To Draw Ants. This art lesson teaches
how I drew all the ants, over 1,050 of them, for the book, How
Many Ants?.
